Queensland Government Sport & Recreation Conference 2018 “What’s Your Next Move?”

Co-Director of H&E Group, Holly Hardstaff, speaking at the Brisbane leg of the second conference series under the Building Active Communities Workshop program. Holly was invited in her role as the Assistant State Commissioner for Girl Guides Queensland to present to a room of 200+ people on the subject of engaging girls and young women in outdoor activities, sharing how Girl Guides have been so successful in this area.

Holly was presenting alongside some big names such as Brenden Hall OAM, multiple world champion and Paralympic medallist, John Buchanan (famous for delivering Queensland their first ever Sheffield Shield), and Tim Oberg, Founder & CEO of Parkrun Australia.

After recently becoming a mother to her beautiful baby girl, Sadie Valentine Hardstaff, Holly was reminded just how important it is to help as many young women as she can to become the person they dream to be. Working with Girl Guides Queensland is something she is extremely passionate about and hopes to see more young women join their family each year!

Wonderwoman & the National Breast Cancer Foundation…

It’s time to celebrate one amazing human…. Claire Jecks and dig deep for the National Breast Cancer Foundation!!

Claire’s Story:

Hello beautiful people!
As you know, we have a bit of a battle on our hands at the moment, with Claire taking on her second round of breast cancer, whilst pregnant with our second child. Although Francois used to be an athlete (just ask him), he has recently been working really hard on his dad bod!

Over the next few months during treatment, Claire is going to be feeling a little bit nauseous, light-headed and sweaty so she threw down the challenge that Francois suffer something similar (but probably easier!). She has since decided that he must complete his first marathon and he will run his 42km, supported by friends and work colleagues from the Gold Coast University Hospital at the annual Gold Coast Marathon on 1st July 2018.

We have created this page because we w
ant to make a difference to the one in eight women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

We are inspired by the work that National Breast Cancer Foundation do and want to help them reach their aspirational goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

Please help me help NBCF by giving whatever you can by CLICKING HERE.

The more people that know about National Breast Cancer Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
All our love,
Claire, Francois, Benji and the bump!

The ACBF Group

The beginning of 2018 brought a fabulous new partnership with the ACBF Group. ACBF consists of three specialised funeral plans, Community Funeral Plans, NZ Community Funeral Plans & Aboriginal Funeral Plan. We began our work with ACBF by redefining the brand for the already existing company, Aboriginal Funeral Plans. We then worked closely with their CEO to develop and launch Community Funeral Plans and NZ Community Funeral Plans. We designed and developed three brand new websites and finalised a marketing strategy for the initial 6 months launch.

We have been working closely with the ACBF group each month to build brand awareness, turn enquiries into quotes and quotes into sales, with NZ Community Funeral Plan getting close to a formal launch. We work closely with our media contacts and SEO partner on our cohesive marketing strategy to continue to grow each facet of all three businesses.

There are a number of exciting changes on their way for this partnership so, be sure the watch this space!!!

Helping Care for Family Enter New Markets

The Government is changing how aged care is delivered in Australia, giving families more choice, control and flexibility in the way they receive home care services and how those services are delivered. Families who require additional services to supplement their Home Care Package (HCP) now also have the choice and flexibility to decide which service provider they want to use. The changes in home care delivery from end of February mean that choosing an agency like Care For Family will be financially favourable to families as there will be no administration charges, no assessment charges and no case management charges.
